Why would you like to be a Civil Protection Unit?:
I have recently found this server, I found joy in RPing as a Citizen in contrast to other servers where nothing even remotely entertaining would occur.
Though with this promising Playerbase and above standard of RP it would be foolish in my position to not attempt to select another range of RP,
to experience how other RP, in this case Unit RP, would be like on this server. I assume it will be better than others.
Write a paragraph on what a CP is and he one should roleplay as a unit:
There are no more “Cops”, the guys you see with metal masks and a uniform are Civil-Protection Officers who are human but have decided to join the Combine forces.
Some Combine humans, such as the Overwatch, have had various brain washings and organ transplants. This makes them more obedient and combat-ready.
The Combine enforces Civil Law Codes and detains citizens who act rebellious.
The Combine are not your friend so don’t run up to them saying “Can I have a hug?”, the Combine Unit will probably just beat you.
Their goal is to exterminate humanity as it is and then move on to the next planet, they show now mercy and you will fear them.
They will RP in a way to contain order in the city... Badly if they have to.
Have you been CP before? If so, what servers?: I've been one once, on a server that was not really famous, can't remember the name (Collapsed on its own). I was one and did a mighty godd job doing it aswell.
Write your character's backstory and why he/she wants to be a CP (At least 100 characters/letters):
My father was a low ranking CP, had been a loyalist all his life, his only dream was to become a CP, and had finally gotten in.
He was killed on his first raid, by a group of rebels hiding throughout the apartments with lengths of metal pipe.
I found out, and lost it.
I gathered a couple weapons and a few boxes of ammo, and approached the known rebel hideout.
They didn't know me, and welcomed me as i was young, strong, and capable. The second I was allowed inside i slaughtered them.
Every last one died at my hand.
I found the leader cowering in the back room of the complex, and proceeded to tie him down to his own desk.
I shot him once in each leg, let him bleed for several minutes, then shoved a stunstick down his throat and clicked it on.
The screaming was the best part.
After the incident i got transferred to my current location, my mother was forced to stay behind, as her permit to open a shop was only valid in our previous location.
Now I'm here, and looking to give the rebels what they deserve.
Write a roleplay on how a unit plays his/her role in the form of a LOG:
Buttman: /me approaches the two whispering citizens, shoving them into the alley wall.
Citizen 1: Please sir, you don't understand, I was just asking for a single token!
Citizen 2: It's true! He needs it for -
Buttman: /me draws stunstick, clicking it to high voltage.
Buttman: Face the wall!
Citizen 1: Oh god, please, please don't do this, I -
Buttman: /me strikes the citizen repeatedly across the back.
Citizen 1: Ahhhhhh!
Citizen 2: /me closes eyes.
Citizen 2: Dear god.
Buttman: /me knocks citizen 1 unconscious.
Buttman: Next.
Citizen 2: /me shudders in fear.
What do you do if you see a citizen running?:
Ask him the reason of him/her running, and give him a re-education
What do you do if you see a member of the resistance?:
I amputate him right on the spot if he shoots me.
What do you do if you find a gun?:
Search for eyewitnesses and/or the person dropping it. If none nearby, pick it up and deliver it to the armory.
Explain /roll, Metagaming, Powergaming, and FailRP:
/roll: Is used when a player does a /me action, and gives the other victim/citizen a chance of responding in a different way. If the victim gets a higher /roll rate, he wins. And vice-versa
Metagaming: Leaking out IC information in the OOC chat.
Powergaming: Is a way of forcing another player your actions without allowing him to react and/or answer.
FailRP: The player RP's in a wrong way and doesn't respond to other characters when talking to him/her.
A vort is walking around: What do you do?:
Capture and enslave him, of course...
